Call for applications for appointment to the Optometry Board of Australia

There is a vacancy for a practitioner member from New South Wales on the Optometry Board of Australia

As a registered practitioner you may also wish to express interest in the role of Board Chair.

National Boards and Ahpra have an important role in ensuring the development of a culturally safe and respectful health workforce that is responsive to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples health and contributes to the elimination of racism in the provision of health services.

To achieve this, we have committed to increasing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander leadership and voices on National Boards and warmly invite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.

We are also committed to increasing diversity and social inclusion on National Boards. Applications are encouraged from people with a disability, people who identify as LGBTQI and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
