At the webinar on 7 September 2022, Judith Hannan the Board Chair at the time, explained the roles of Ahpra and the Optometry Board of Australia, and what was required of graduates to become registered and begin practising as a registered optometrist.

This video is most relevant to optometry students who are nearing the completion of their approved programs of study in Australia and will soon be seeking general registration as an optometrist with endorsement for scheduled medicines.
