Policy, Standards and Guidelines Advisory Committee

The Policy, Standards and Guidelines Advisory Committee undertakes the following functions as an advisory committee to the Board:

reviews the current policies, registration standards and codes and guidelines with directions from the National Board and via other Committees established by the National Board
develop new policies, registration standards and codes and guidelines as directed by the National Board and
recommend areas to the National Board in which policies, registration standards and codes and guidelines are required.

Mr Joe Chakman	An experienced optometry policy officer external to the Board and AHPRA.
